Kadampa Meditation Centre

Kadampa Meditation Centre (KMC) Italy is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition, the International Kadampa Buddhist Union.

The New Kadampa Tradition (NKT) is a Mahayana Buddhist tradition that maintains and promotes the essence of Buddha's teachings in a way that is appropriate for the Western way of life.

Kadampa Buddhism follows the teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni as they were presented by the great Buddhist Master Atisha (982-1054). It was first introduced in the West in 1977 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
