The Teachers

The Spiritual Director of KMC Italy is Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, a fully accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism.

Through his intense wish to benefit others, Geshe Kelsang has been the inspiration of the International Temples Project, the unfolding of a profound and compassionate vision to build a Kadampa Buddhist Temple in every major city of the world.

He has also composed many authoritative books on Buddhism and developed study and meditation progammes based on these books.

These programmes are taught at hundreds of NKT centres around the world.

Kelsang Ringyal, appointed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang as the Resident Teacher of KMC Italy, has many years of experience in both teaching and administration.

Although a humble Kadampa practitioner, she has been ordained for 12 years and gives powerful and practical teachings from the heart.
